NEW RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS

Effective Summer 2025, the requirements for receiving a military exemption for in-state tuition have changed. All out-of-state military-connected students are eligible for a military residency exemption. You must apply by May 21st for Summer 2025 and August 29th for Fall 2025. If you have already applied for and received the residency exemption, you do not need to apply again.  Apply here

 

Veterans Day Commemoration Nominations Open

Do you know any Utah veterans with amazing stories? Nominate them today to be one of this year's Veterans Day Commemoration Honorees. Nominees are currently being accepted for individuals living in Utah who served or serve on active duty or in the reserves in the U.S. Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, or National Guard. Each year, the committee selects eleven honorees based on noteworthy honor, courage, commitment, and sacrifice during their military service to our nation. Click here for an online or printable version of the nomination form. Nominations are due no later than 31 July, 2025 at 11:59 PM.
